One of my most relatable "musings" is how to forgive yourself. In order to feel true peace in life and forgive myself, I need to picture God right next to me, arm around me. Not picturing God bigger than life making me feel guilt or regret. This particular writing makes it really simple to understand how to experience true peace, the outcome intended from God.

My papers had an original goal, an original purpose. They were not for publication. They were not written for anyone or any purpose except to help me, personally, understand my God and what He is trying to tell me. Writing helps me to look closer, search deeper into the words of Christ, his teachings. Reading, thinking spiritually and then writing about my thoughts helps me to actually feel their meaning.
Hopefully this book will help others to reach their level of understanding.
It is amazing how the veil of mystery, the fog of not understanding is lifted if we pray for understanding, start thinking spiritually and not just with our human reasoning. Then when reading and re reading Christ’s words, understanding starts to be happen. It starts to be felt in our souls. We can go from just reading words to a level of understanding.
My understanding is not perfect understanding. I do not expect to fully and perfectly understand Christ’s words and teachings but feel I have been shown enough to be comfortable in my beliefs. I am past the level where I believe only because He is God and "His thoughts are not my thoughts and his ways are not my ways." I am past the explanation of, "just trust and believe".
Certainly, any understanding achieved here while on earth will not be a perfect understanding, but we can reach a level where we can feel comfortable that we really know Him and have a basic understanding of what He is telling us.
Do Dogs Go To Heaven reflects on the love and friendship our furry friends give to us, and how their behaviors align with God's will.
